NICK HART is a full-time fly fishing guide from Somerset and the owner of Hart Fly shop. An obsessive angler, he has been running fly fishing courses ever since he left school and guides for a multitude of species using fly tackle.

JOHN BAILEY has been fishing nigh on half a century and has fished for scores of species in over 50 countries around the world. His favourite destinations include India, Mongolia, Russia, Eastern Europe and Arctic Circle locations like Greenland. John has written over 40 books on fishing during his career as well as articles for over 30 publications since he began writing in the early 1970s.

NICOLA ZINGARELLI was born in Italy, grew up in Rome and has currently been "trapped" in Madrid for 15 years. He first picked up a fishing rod at the age of 8; forty years later, he only fishes with lures, spinning, popping or jigging. Nicola owns a tackle shop, organises and guides fishing trips, writes for several magazines in different countries and is also a photographer.
